Avanti Rotorua to Taupo 100k Flyer start — Event Promotions
The excitement is building and entries are pouring in for this legendary road cycling event which takes competitors on a fast, fun and scenic 100km journey from one world famous tourist destination to another.
The Avanti Rotorua – Taupo 100k Flyer is open to anyone with a bike and cyclists have the option of riding the entire 100km solo or in relay teams of two/three with drink/aid stations provided along the way.
Last years event hosted 3500 riders, and indications so far are that a similar number of riders will line up for the start on Saturday 27 March.
This year a shuttle service is again available for riders from Taupo to the start in Rotorua on the morning of the event. Full details and cost are available from the entry form or from the event website www.eventpromotions.co.nz
A reminder to all competitors that entries must be received by 15 March to avoid the late fee and remember there is also a huge selection of spot prizes up for grabs for everyone taking part including fabulous Avanti bikes, a Suzuki scooter, a Q-Kayak and Kingsgate Hotel accommodation packages.
