Moa Brewing Company support multisport at GODZone

Marlborough based brewing company Moa strengthens its relationship with adventure racing as the beer sponsor for the 2016 GODZone.
 
Competitors across the finish line at the 550km GODZone expedition race being held next month in Tasman, from the 2^nd – 9^th April, will be handed a post race Moa beer in celebration of their outstanding effort.
 
“Moa has supported the event for the past three years and has developed a real following with adventure racing community. It's a great fit for GODZone having a craft brewing company based in the South Island showcased at the event,” says GODZone Race Director Warren Bates.
 
Moa Brewing Company founder Josh Scott says Moa has always about good quality beer enjoyed in moderation andactive people fit the bill.
“Being associated with iconic events like GODZone is great for Moa in the sense that a lot of time, effort and sacrifice is put in by many people including the organisers and team supporters and its great to be able to reward these people with a good beer.”

Scott has become an avid multisporter himself and sees the benefits first hand of competing in the great outdoors.

“Seeing the country, and keeping fit are my key drivers. I get to explore NZ and have fun doing it. My wife and young kids also love getting out to explore new tracks and as long as you are well planned it’s a safe environment. Racing also makes you push that little harder, and the buzz after finishing an event, no matter your placing is always gratifying.”
 
The top three placed teams in the GODZone PURE and PURSUT categories will receive magnums of Moa as part of their overall prize packs.
