Team BudgetForklifts update

By BudgetForklifts

Team BudgetForklifts is kicking off the next phase of the 2015 season
like they did in 2014, by spending the Australian mid-season NRS break
in North America/Canada taking in 6 races finishing with a high altitude
training camp to prepare them for the remainder of the year, with the plan
to set themselves up for a similar back end to the year as 2014, racing the UCI Asian Tour
and remaining Australian National Road Series.

The team kicked off the year with it's best ever start, winning 2 Australian
Elite Titles with Scott Sunderland and Glenn O'Shea and standing on the podium
another 3 times across both Road and Track. The boys backed this up with 3
other podiums at the World Track Championships in the Team's Pursuit, Omnium
and Individual Pursuit added to that stage wins and Podiums across the UCI Oceania
calendar made it our best early season to date.

"We enter all 6 races in North America with a genuine chance of overall victory. We
learnt a lot from our races here last year and will put that knowledge to good use, the team
has been like a group of caged lions after a lack of racing, and eager to get out and show the
fruits of an intensive training prep leading into this block of racing.
Last year this trip set up our boys for an incredible back end of the season, where we
went on a rampage, winning 3 consecutive UCI Tours in Asia as well as Tour of Murray
& Tour of Gippsland." said team manager Cameron Watt. "After a world wind start to the year,
the team have rested, recharged and ready for phase 2 of the year."

The team has strong ties with the Canada and North America with long time bike sponsor Cervelo
head office based there.
