Challenge Roth swims faster with blueseventy

By Challenge Family

blueseventy, the worldwide leader in open water swimming wetsuits and accessories, is the new swim course partner for DATEV Challenge Roth as part of a three-year agreement.

The USA-based company has an excellent reputation among swimmers and triathletes, as blueseventy has a twenty-year history of developing, testing and modifying its swimskins and wetsuits in close co-operation with athletes.  Each wetsuit is assessed and improved on the basis of detailed feedback by athletes from all over the world, blueseventy prides itself on using the input and practical experience of athletes to make the best possible products. They always look for ways to go beyond the usual limits, and thus to support swimmers in the pool or open water in a perfect way.

Focusing on the athletes is exactly the philosophy of CHALLENGEFAMILY. Managing Director John Duquette is of the same opinion: “I couldn't be more excited about partnering with DATEV Challenge Roth. By focusing on the athlete experience above all else they represent the very best in the sport of triathlon. We're honored to be part of this historic race."

blueseventy is active on an international scale and maintains branch offices in the US, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Thus, for them the partnership is a further step ahead. As part of the co-operation with DATEV Challenge Roth, blueseventy will create a custom Helix wetsuit to commemorate the event.

DATEV Challenge Roth CEO Felix Walchshöfer said, “blueseventy is an ideal partner for us, because there are people behind this brand who are enthusiastic triathletes and swimmers themselves. They know better than anyone else what kind of material athletes need, and are well-known for their high-quality products around the world. In the coming years we will be able to achieve a great deal together, and I am very much looking forward to it.”
