Challenge Roth makes it five in a row as 'Race of the Year'

For the fifth year in a row DATEV CHALLENGEROTH has taken the title of “Best Race of the Year”. Every year since 2011 the top honour at the Sailfish Triathlon Night of the Year has gone to the world's largest long distance triathlon, voted for by readers of Europe's largest triathlon magazine, Triathlon. CHALLENGEROTH earned 43% of the votes with Hawaii coming in second with 16% and Frankfurt third with 13%.

CHALLENGEROTH CEOs Alice, Felix and Kathrin Walchshöfer were delighted to accept the award. In his acceptance speech, Felix Walchshöfer said, “This Award belongs to our more than 6,000 volunteers, our athletes and our supporters from the city and county of Roth. For the fifth time, the triathlon-crazy county of Roth hosted the best race in the world with lots of passion and enthusiasm. I thank all our volunteers and supporters with all my heart!”
