The world’s largest running series Warrior Dash have partnered up with the Vodafone Warriors in what is sure to be a Warrior showdown when the event series invades New Zealand.

Warrior Dash will hit New Zealand with adventure seeking athletes trudging through mud, battling big bad obstacles and fighting through treacherous terrain on a wild 5km course! After pushing the limit and conquering extreme obstacles, Warriors then celebrate with music, Warrior grub and beer in the event’s festival area.

The partnership between the Vodafone Warriors and Warrior Dash has been very timely given the commencement of the 2013 NRL season and there is an expectation from both parties the country will go ‘Warrior’ crazy in the lead up to Warriors first game and Warrior Dash Auckland.

Ex-professional NRL player and Vodafone Warriors strength and conditioning coach, Ruben Wiki is leading the charge on the North Island where he has put his hand up to support Warrior dash and will be participating in the Auckland event on April 6.

With the Vodafone Warriors playing Sunday 7th April, the day after Warrior Dash Auckland, all Warriors who are competing in Warrior Dash and attending the Vodafone Warriors game are encouraged to wear their Warrior Dash fuzzy helmet to the NRL game! This initiative is expected to send a Warrior craze across New Zealand.
